"This Is Not A Productivity Report" – Mixed Media Original

A play on the contrast between expectation and denial. The work is intentionally emptier than full: a space that conveys the unspoken and directs attention towards silence. Emptiness thus becomes the antithesis of the constant abundance that symbolises productivity and achievement.

The surface was created using several translucent layers of ochre and earth tones, applied via the soak-and-stain technique. The paint seeps into the fabric, creating subtle depths that only become apparent upon close inspection. The creases in the canvas are also an integral part of the work. They are not flaws, but traces of the process: signs of materiality and resistance; evidence of the imperfection that is intrinsic to humanity.
