What remains when it's all over? 'The Soil Remembers' captures what has taken root.

The earth remembers every step, every weight, every movement, every encounter, every germinating seed and every trace of warmth.

Within it lies what was, without regret. This work carries within it the layers of this memory—as movement, as colour, as breath.

Some things pass away. But much continues to grow, just in a different form.

  • Part of the "Still Gifts" series
  • Original mixed media artwork using high quality artist-grade materials (acrylic paints, acrylic ink, charcoal, colored pencils and acrylic markers, gouache, oil pastels, oil sticks, and pencil) on cold-pressed, acid-free watercolor paper (300 g/m²)
  • Size: 15 x 15 cm (unframed), 25 x 25 cm (framed)
  • Signed, titled, and dated by Rini Pegka on the reverse
  • Includes a beechwood shadow box frame
  • Minor irregularities in alignment are intentional and part of the artwork's originality, as each piece is a genuine work of art. Each work is securely attached to its frame and intended as a unified whole. Should the frame become damaged, please contact a framer or restorer who can handle the material with care.

Note regarding image display:

For a better understanding, I also show the artworks as mockups, which are digitally inserted images in real-world room settings. Please note that the actual dimensions of the artwork are specified in the product description.

Depending on the mock-up, an image may appear slightly larger or smaller than the original. The room views are intended to show you how the artwork might look in a living space and are for orientation purposes only.

All photos were taken in natural light. Slight colour variations may occur depending on the time of day and your screen. The frames are made of light wood. In some images, they appear slightly cooler-toned and darker than in reality.
