Traces of chance and imperfection are woven into this work. Pigments that do not fully dissolve, colours that settle, and folds and creases in the fabric that resemble cracks or dust are all visible and become part of the language of the piece. Nothing is smoothed over or concealed.

The work speaks of the power of fragility and of enduring fractures without hiding what is fragile. At a time when the world seems to be falling apart in so many places, this work reminds us that vulnerability can also contain resilience. True strength does not lie in a flawless appearance, but in standing firm while everything is in flux – in life as well as in society.
